Terms and Conditions of Sale
- General
Cleats.co.uk is the online sales division of Clamcleats Ltd.
The 'Company' means Clamcleats Ltd. The 'Purchaser' means the person whose order is accepted by the company.
The 'Recipient' means the person who receives the goods from the Company as directed by the Purchaser.
- Prices & Taxes
All prices quoted on this Website are, where appropriate, inclusive of VAT at the current rate. The confirmation of despatch e-mail includes a
VAT receipt for users who can reclaim VAT. A Purchaser from countries where VAT is not applicable will not be charged VAT at the time of their
order unless the order is being sent to a UK or EU address. For EU users that can reclaim VAT (i.e. businesses), you will be prompted for your
VAT number during the checkout procedure. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches the destination country of the Purchaser
will be the responsibility of the Purchaser, as the Company has no control over these charges.
- Currency Conversions
All orders are invoiced in UK Pounds Sterling. The currency conversion amounts appearing on various pages are for informational purposes only and are approximate
amounts in the converted currency. Credit/Debit cards will be charged in UK Pounds and the converted amounts are not necessarily the exact amount which will appear
on the card statement.
While all care has been taken in making available and maintaining the Currency Conversion Rates displayed on this site, such conversion rates are estimates only of currency
conversions that may apply to a transaction. These rates are provided for information purposes only without express or implied warranty. The Currency Conversion Rates should
not be relied upon as actual currency conversion rates that may be applied to any particular transaction as such rates will frequently fluctuate over time and vary between various
financial providers.
- Delivery
The Company will use their reasonable endeavours to deliver goods promptly but cannot accept any liability for delay in delivery for any
cause. Click here for an explanation of delivery options.
- Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable in any way for loss, damage or delay consequent upon strikes, lock-outs, labour stoppages and/or disputes,
non-delivery of materials, fire theft, storm, explosion, war, civil commotion, act of God or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control
of the Company however arising or howsoever caused.
- Returns
The Company will fully refund any goods that are returned by the Purchaser within seven days of receipt. Please Contact Us before
returning goods and remember to include your order number in the message. The Purchaser is responsible for the cost of returning any goods unless the Company deems
them to have been damaged or faulty on arrival. All goods must be returned complete, in perfect condition, unused, and in original packaging.
- Governing Law and Contract Formation
At the point an order is submitted, it is deemed that the Purchaser has agreed to, and is bound by, the terms and conditions
herein described by the Company. That acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been
effectively communicated to you at the time the Company sends the e-mail confirmation to the Purchaser (whether or not you
receive that e-mail). For the avoidance of doubt, any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom.
Further, any such contract will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England
and the Purchaser and the Company irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
- Statutory Rights
Nothing in the Terms and Conditions of Sale shall affect the Statutory Rights of the Purchaser.
