Details

The Cage is an accessory that allows ropes to be cleated and uncleated at an angle of up to 70 degrees, rather than only in line with the cleat. Adding Cages to cleats fitted with Keepers will allow the helmsman or crew to adjust a control line from different positions quickly, easily, positively and without fear of accidental cleating. Simply pull the rope back at an angle and it is guided down into the teeth, as shown in the sketches below. The stainless steel rear fairlead provides a long life under racing conditions.

CL817 is used with CL815 Keeper and CL211 Mk2 or CL272 cleat. A CL819 Tapered Pad can also be fitted underneath to angle the whole assembly.

Delivery

In the UK please allow up to seven working days for your order to arrive. You can also choose Royal Mail Special Delivery if you need your order within 2 working days..

For delivery outside UK,you can choose:

a) Air small packet post (non-tracked service). Please allow up to 28 days for an order to arrive. (This is not offered to countries where the service is not reliable.)

b) 'Express Courier' which is a 2-5 day service with full tracking. This has to be delivered to a street address (no P.O.Boxes) and someone needs to be available to sign for the package.

Note that outside UK, you are responsible for any import duties and taxes. Each country has a lower limit, below which duty is not charged. For small orders, below £45.00, you are unlikely to be charged, but please check the actual amounts for your country.

All prices are shown including tax (UK VAT). If you live outside the UK, tax will be deducted in the shopping cart, when you select your country for shipping.
