The smallest of the Aero cleat range. A compact aluminium cleat rigged on a rope. Strong and wear resistant. Easy to rig and adjust by hand.
The Clamcleat® CL828-68 has an alloy cleat fixed to a composite base with stainless steel screws. Designed for outdoor use in conditions from -20ºC to +40ºC (0ºF to +100ºF). This is a high strength cleat with superb corrosion resistance. Ideal for continuous use in aggressive or sandy conditions.
Which finish to choose?
The CL828-68 has a silver finish cleat and is perfect for most conditions, both inland and in seawater.
The CL828-68AN has a hard anodised cleat. Better for very agressive seawater and sandy beaches. You may also prefer the dark grey colour.
Compact and strong. Ideal for sports netting, canvas structures, tie-downs radio masts and aerials. This cleat is a favorite for dinghy footstrap adjustment - see photo below.
The position of the cleat on the rope can be adjusted by hand. No tools required.
For ropes 3-4mm (1/8"-5/32") in diameter. Weight 21gm (0.75oz). Length 60mm (2 3/8").

Delivery
We deliver worldwide. As we are able to keep most of our products in stock, we aim to despatch your goods within 24 working hours of receiving the order. You will be contacted if there are any anticipated delays. You can see delivery costs in the shopping cart and these can be updated as products are added or removed. Delivery cost is also confirmed at the checkout stage.
In the UK please allow up to seven working days for your order to arrive. You can also choose Royal Mail Special Delivery if you need your order within 2 working days..
For delivery outside UK,you can choose:
a) Air small packet post (non-tracked service). Please allow up to 28 days for an order to arrive. (This is not offered to countries where the service is not reliable.)
b) 'Express Courier' which is a 2-5 day service with full tracking. This has to be delivered to a street address (no P.O.Boxes) and someone needs to be available to sign for the package.
Note that outside UK, you are responsible for any import duties and taxes. Each country has a lower limit, below which duty is not charged. For small orders, below £45.00, you are unlikely to be charged, but please check the actual amounts for your country.
All prices are shown including tax (UK VAT). If you live outside the UK, tax will be deducted in the shopping cart, when you select your country for shipping.
Currency
All orders are invoiced in GB Pounds Sterling. Currency conversions are shown for informational purposes and are approximate amounts in the converted currency.
