Details

Salt water can cause corrosion between alloy cleats and carbon fibre spars. Using the PT422&23 insulates the cleat by keeping it separate from the fixings and surface. Ieal for use on carnon fibre tillers, masts and spars.

These Insulators are for our Mk1 Racing Junior alloy cleats. The countersink cones fit under the screw or bolt heads and the baseplate fits under the alloy cleat. This prevents galvanic corrosion of the alloy cleat by keeping it separate from the fixings and surface. The PT422&23 is quick and easy to fit and the base will flex to fit any size of tube.
Supplied as a pack of 4 sets, for 4 cleats. Each set has 1 base + 2 cones, attached to a sprue, to keep the parts together. To remove, just twist off by hand.
Fits CL211 Mk1, CL217 Mk1, CL218 Mk1, CL230, CL236, CL704.

Tested in our own agresive salt water testing tank, these insulators really do eliminate corrosion problems.

Delivery

In the UK please allow up to seven working days for your order to arrive. You can also choose Royal Mail Special Delivery if you need your order within 2 working days..

For delivery outside UK,you can choose:

a) Air small packet post (non-tracked service). Please allow up to 28 days for an order to arrive. (This is not offered to countries where the service is not reliable.)

b) 'Express Courier' which is a 2-5 day service with full tracking. This has to be delivered to a street address (no P.O.Boxes) and someone needs to be available to sign for the package.

Note that outside UK, you are responsible for any import duties and taxes. Each country has a lower limit, below which duty is not charged. For small orders, below £45.00, you are unlikely to be charged, but please check the actual amounts for your country.

All prices are shown including tax (UK VAT). If you live outside the UK, tax will be deducted in the shopping cart, when you select your country for shipping.
